DrinksHow to make delicious rose lassi at home
Hello, friends, though the winter is setting in,we can never say NO to a glass of lassi.Well, when the mercury drops down,we make a slight alteration,we order for a little less cold glass of the appealing drink.Friends,it"s not on the meter of sharp justice that an urban mind sets to compare, but it"s simply unique in its own style, recalling the is dignity in simplicity. The punjabis enjoy this a glass full and it"s indespensible part of their grand punjabi thali.
It"s hugely popular in Bengal and also in all parts of India. It"s royalty is during the holi, the festival of colours in India, where you get different variations of it,as your mischief lover friends add a bit of bhang,to get you out of order. It"s called the thandai in holi,as some addition alteration are made. But basically,it"s simple and delicious and you can make at your home during summer months.
Here"s the receipe for the grand LASSI:
*Yoghurt, may be purchased or homemade, sugar, salt, crushed ice, rose syrup, bits of pesta almonds, and one of the four elements of universe, water.
*All you need to do is,add crushed ice in the jar of mixer followed by yoghurt,a little bit salt, and sugar, and little water.Mix all well.Next you switch the mixer off and add more water for final time, and the little of rose syrup.Mix again to full.Pour your magic in a glass, the best is earthenware(glass or small pitchers),but if you pour it in tumbler or a peg or even in a champaigne flute, you are discoverer of culinary fusion!Garnish with pieces of pista and almonds.
*You can try other flavours instead of rose, for me rose takes the lead.
Your LASSI IS READY to serve if there are guests or ready to enjoy yourself if you are alone .For both cases it"s all from my heart;CHEEERS!!
